Alex has been ever so patient, this took me forever. I HATE painting fire, but it looks okay I guess.
If you're wondering what the fiery bit in the mane is it's her feather that sets alight when her fiery wings come out.

Pro tip for fire, don't be afraid of contrast! Fire can bee the deepest red to almost pure white at the tips and edges, depending on how hot it is.
